Join us at the Woodbrook Hunt Club’s Centennial Hunt Ball & Auction for the opportunity to bid on the Stretching Fox bronze sculpture during the live auction portion of the celebration. You may also submit your bid outside the auction at thewoodbrookfoundation@gmail.org. Bids start at $5000.
Stretching Fox is a bronze sculpture created by nationally-known sculptor Georgia Gerber of Whidbey Island, WA. Bronze sculptures by Gerber can be found in public places throughout the Puget Sound region and beyond including Rachel the Pig at Pike Place market and Husky Spirit at the University of Washington stadium.
"I like my sculpture to invite an interaction with its audience. This is often meant to be a direct physical interaction, but always I strive to engage the viewer's imaginations as well," Gerber says.
The sculpture was generously donated by a friend of The Woodbrook Foundation.
